Want to vote for Davy, but you won't be able to make it on Election Day? Don't worry! You can already request an Absentee-by-mail ballot, and on October 16th, you'll be able to vote early for Davy Lowman.
Absentee by Mail
To request an absentee ballot, you should send a written request to your county board of elections no later than Tuesday, October 26th. The request should include your name, residence address, phone number, date of birth and address where you would like the ballots mailed, and it should be signed with your signature. A near relative can make the request for you.

One-Stop Early Voting
Avoid the lines - vote early! Early voting starts on the 16th of October and runs through November 1st. Each county has four early vote locations, and while you can vote at all four locations in your home county, there is one location in each county in Davy's district.
In Cleveland County, you can vote at the county board of elections (215 Patton Dr., Shelby) starting on the 16th from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and starting on October 27th you can vote in upper Cleveland County at the Palm Tree Methodist Church Fellowship Hall (1160 W. Stagecoach Trl., Lawndale) from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The last day of early voting is Nov. 1st, from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

In Gaston County, North and Northwest Gaston residents can vote at the Gaston County Citizens Resource Center for the entire early vote period (Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008 through Friday, Oct. 31, 2008 weekdays and Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; and Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM). The Citizens Resource Center is located at 1303 Dallas Cherryville Hwy. in Dallas.
