On Saturday, the Lowman campaign had its first big canvass of the campaign season. Volunteers came from Cleveland County, Bessemer City, Gastonia, Cherryville, and as far as Raleigh to help Davy reach out to voters. After meeting at Davy Lowman for NC House Headquarters on North Rudisill street, volunteers went out door to door to talk with Cherryville residents about the upcoming election. The volunteer canvassers talked to Democrats, Republicans, and unaffiliated voters about the important work that Davy will do in Raleigh to bring jobs and opportunity to Upper Gaston County and Upper Cleveland County.

Davy joined the canvassers, knocking on doors from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., in spite of the summer storms that came later on in the day. Davy has been spreading our message door to door all across the district since May, and was happy to be joined by young volunteers, young-at-heart volunteers, and even other candidates to make our first volunteer canvass a great success.
"Nothing humbles you quite like seeing familiar faces join with new ones to work on your behalf. I am grateful for all of the help I've had to make our campaign a success, and I'd like to ask anyone who believes in working for a brighter future for our community to volunteer. Whether it's knocking on doors, making phone calls, or having a house party with your friends and neighbors, we need your help to win in November. Please sign up here or e-mail us at lowmanforhouse110@gmail.com to join our efforts." - Davy
